Quality & process

Tape fails quietly. We test loudly.

A carton that opens in transit costs far more than the tape that sealed it. Every lot leaving Mundka is checked against the properties that decide whether a seal holds.

From film to pallet

Six stages, all under our own roof

Stage 01

Film & adhesive intake

BOPP film and water-based acrylic adhesive are checked on arrival for gauge, clarity and solids before they touch a machine.

Stage 02

Coating

Adhesive is coated onto the film at a controlled coat weight and dried in-line, giving stable tack across the full roll width.

Stage 03

Printing

Engraved cylinders print up to three colours in register: logos, cautionary marks and repeat patterns on the running film.

Stage 04

Slitting

Mother rolls are slit to finished widths from 12mm to 96mm with clean edges and no telescoping.

Stage 05

Winding & core fit

Tape is wound onto paper cores made in-house, so inner diameter and roundness are consistent with your dispensers.

Stage 06

Inspection & dispatch

Sample rolls from every lot are pulled and tested, then packed, palletised and dispatched from Mundka.

What we measure

Six properties, checked lot by lot

Certified quality is one of our four stated commitments, alongside a well-equipped facility, timely delivery and competitive prices.

Adhesion (peel)

Tested against steel and corrugate

Tensile strength

Film checked lot by lot

Elongation at break

Within declared tolerance

Coat weight

Monitored across roll width

Thickness / micron

Minimal variation, gauge verified

Ageing & UV

Stabilised so tape won't lift off cartons

Capabilities

Adhesive coating

Water based acrylic adhesive coated onto BOPP film with stable coat weight edge-to-edge, so peel and shear stay identical across the roll.

Rotogravure printing

Up to three colours, engraved cylinders and register control tight enough for logos, cautionary marks and repeat patterns.

Precision slitting

Mother rolls converted to 12mm-96mm with clean edges and no telescoping, on cores we wind ourselves.

Core winding

Spiral wound paper cores in the grades and wall thicknesses your winders and dispensers need.
